A recent "rip" drawing or pen "kata." To the left is the enlarged diagram outlining the steps. Using a continous loop, I render two speeds simultaneously, the micro and macro, representing the pen and the brush, respectively. Notice how the released rip has its own rhythm, ending in a sort of arpeggio.

I've discovered my voice in these drawings. They express something universal and very alive today - a sense of urgency. Who can't relate to tension and release? Who hasn't tried to perform gracefully under pressure? My story continues to unfold and I hope it inspires others to live their dream incessently.
